Tourist visits to Córdoba

The city of Córdoba is only 10 minutes far away from the Campsite. It is a city with a lot of tourist offers, specially cultural, which has many monuments and museums. Córdoba is a wonderful place, with typical districts of a special beauty that you can enjoy in lovely walks. In the Campsite we will offer you all the necessary information to visit this great city: typical neighborhoods, monuments, museums, interest places, restaurants, maps, institutions, routes, transport's timetables, holiday dates, shows, etc.

Rural tourism

The Campsite is in the district of the High Guadalquivir, a well-preserved natural area with numerous environmental marked routes that will help you to know the variety of landscapes and the natural wealth of the area, and to get in touch with a varied and abundant fauna. These journeys are a delight for the lovers of hiking, cycle-tourism and horse riding.

Practice of climbing

Near the Campsite, with convenient and quick access, is the Rock of the Eagle. This place has wide and shady parking areas, and it consists of blocks of quartzite over 40 m, professionally equipped with 24 tracks of different levels of difficulty. Near the mountain is the Tamujoso stream and very close, the Guadalquivir River, with the reservoir "Salto de El Carpio" and its pier. The south-west facing walls are feasible under the best conditions even in the adverse months.

Water Sports

Near de Campsite you can visit the river park of Villafranca, with its pier and recreational area, Source of the River.

• * This place has a complete infrastructure dedicated to leisure (lunchrooms, carpark areas, etc.)
• * The pier is dedicated to the practice of water activities (canoein, sailing, kayak, fishing....). Its calm waters are navigable all the year and they are surrounded by typical vegetation of riparian forest.
